Your Role
In your role as a CMM Programmer, you will program measuring machines for the measurement and control of the components manufactured in the machining and sheet metal workshop. The work involves developing control documentation for our measuring machines, CMM, as well as manual inspection within turning, sheet metal, and milling. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to create and develop work methods and methodologies that are necessary to produce the aircraft.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with prior experience in CMM programming. You have basic knowledge of programming, using standalone systems or operator programming. It is an advantage if you have worked with measuring machines as an operator, especially PC-DMIS.
You have a high school education focused on manufacturing or equivalent knowledge from workshop work that the employer assesses as equivalent.
Prior experience in detail inspection, reading technical drawings, 3D dimensioning, and measurement technology is considered advantageous but not necessary.
As a person, you are meticulous, innovative, and structured in your work. You have a desire to develop and independently seek the information necessary to complete a task. You need to have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others, as there are both internal and external contacts. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Other Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PC-DMIS, programming, experience as a CMM operator.
- Experience with other measuring machine languages.
- Experience with laser scanning measurements, including measuring arms.
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, handling 3D data with FTA.
- Knowledge of Form & Position.
- Knowledge in measurement technology.
- Workshop education/experience in other workshop sections is advantageous.
- Good product knowledge.
- Experience with CAD systems, CATIA, Solid Works, etc.
- Computer proficiency in a PC environment.
The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
